Public Safety Open Houses

Join us in your neighborhood to discuss the City's long-range planning for fire protection and law enforcement services.

The City of Sacramento is holding 14 'Public Safety Open House' events between April 2 and May 7 to gather your feedback for a Master Plan. The Master Plans are intended to provide a roadmap for police and fire services during the next five to ten years. The plans will evaluate current operations; identify best practices from comparable communities; determine future staffing needs, equipment, technology and infrastructure; and make recommendations to achieve optimum levels of public safety services.

Police and Fire professionals will be available between 6:30pm and 8:30pm to answer your questions.
