Grantees for the 2018 program year have been selected! 21 grantees will receive a total of $950,000. Read more about the grantees and their programs.

About the grant program

The Gang Prevention and Intervention Grant Program was developed to coordinate strategic investments in partnership with community based service providers to increase support for high-risk youth and families in our community. Over the last three years, the City awarded $3 million in grants to 31 non-profit organizations to address and prevent youth and gang violence.

The City is committed to a coordinated, comprehensive effort that combines the latest research and best practices with an intentional focus on providing more prevention and intervention services to high-risk and gang-involved populations.

See below for an exhaustive list of all of the agencies funded since the beginning of the Grant Program in 2016.
