Weather Refuge Centers Report

During the winter of 2016/2017, the City, in partnership with Volunteers of America and WIND, created the winter weather refuge centers. The program, located at three different facilities, helped 730 individuals.

The statewide pilot program for vulnerable Medi-Cal patients to improve the health outcomes and reduce utilization of high-cost services.

Pit Stop Attended Restroom Pilot Program Status Report

In Mid-June 2016, the Pit Stop Attended Restroom opened its doors to homeless men and women residing in the River District area of the City for a 6 month pilot program.

In October 2015, the City’s homeless coordinator put together a comprehensive report on the annually cost associated with homelessness in Sacramento. 

Homeless Subcommittee Implementation Plan
After conducting 7 subcommittee meetings with local stakeholders over the course of 4 months, the 8th meeting consisted of a report on reviewing homeless program and policy options.
