revision (commercial or residential)

When a change needs to be made to the scope of an issued building permit, the plan review and approval of the scope change is tracked and authorized or denied via a revision record type. A revision record type cannot be used to review and authorize scope changes which affect the project value associated with an issued permit. Changes in scope which affect the permit's project value must be authorized and reviewed as a new building permit.
