Tracie Stafford Category: Small Business Appointment Date: July 18, 2006 Term Expires: May 3, 2009 Tracie Stafford is Chair of the City Council's Small Business Development and Employment Advisory Board. She is also the Chair of the Outreach and Communications Committee of the Board. She is a co-founder and owner of Exceptional Events, a local company focusing on business and leisure event management and traditional travel. Ms. Stafford began her career in the marketing and events field in the private sector. She has held senior management positions with Netscape and Fortune 100 companies in which she led corporate marketing campaigns and events with multi-million dollar budgets. Ms. Stafford was recently appointed to the California Small Business Board by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Board Experience: Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, The Community Center for Health and Well Being, National Association of Women Business Owners (Past President), California Small Business Board.

Molly Stuart Category: Small Business Appointment Date: July 18, 2006 Term Expires: May 3, 2008 Molly Stuart is the Vice-Chair City Council's Small Business Development and Employment Advisory Board. She is also Director of the Sacramento Small Business Development Center/Los Rios Community College District in Sacramento. A lawyer by training, Ms. Stuart was a professor of law, specializing in contract law and negotiation. She also has been the President of the international non-profit law association and serves as a critical incident trauma chaplain in hospital emergency rooms, crime scenes and disaster scenes. She is a member of the State Bar of California, a licensed Real Estate Broker and certified mediator. Education: JD. from McGeorge School of Law, and a B.A. from UC Davis. Board Experience: Denver, Colorado Center for Book/Rocky Mountain Book Festival, Metro Chamber, SMUD Community Advisory Panel.

Category: Employment Appointment Date: January 31, 3006 Term Expires: January 22, 2008 Samuel Wallace was appointed to the position of Small Business Enterprise Officer by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on July 21, 2006. This position was created to help California's disadvantaged businesses play a key role in rebuilding the state's transportation infrastructure. Before his appointment, Mr. Wallace served as the owner and principal of Williams-Wallace Management Consultants, a marketing planning, research and consulting firm established in 1993. Previously, Mr. Wallace was appointed to serve as Region IX Representative for Secretary of Labor, Elizabeth Dole. He was also President and Chief Operating Officer for the consulting firm, Xodex Enterprises. Mr. Wallace's business background includes over 20 years in management planning, organizational development, research evaluations and planning work. He has a combined 17 years in management evaluations and restructuring assignments (including acquisitions and mergers reorganization), 14 years in marketing planning and market research assignments, 10 years in small business and technical assistance and contracting, and 10 years in state and local government projects. Education: Howard University (BA) and Columbia University (MBA).
Ingrid H. Rosten Category: Small Business Appointment Date: January 31, 2006 Term Expires: May 3, 2007 Ingrid Rosten is the Executive Director of CleanStart, an initiative of McClellan Technology Incubator. Ms. Rosten was co-founder and Managing Director of the International Business Incubator (IBI) - Silicon Valley, located in San Jose, California. She has spent time supporting the development of foreign government incubators/centers affiliated with the IBI. Board Experience: National Business Incubation Association member, Chair of Silicon Valley International Council, and City of Sacramento Small Business Employment Advisory Board.
Eugene D. Jones Category: Employment Appointment Date: February 31, 2006 Term Expires: January 22, 2008 Eugene D. Jones is the Chair of the Research and Data Gathering Committee of the Board. Mr. Jones is currently a Human Resources Supervisor for United Parcel Services, his employer for the past 20 years. Education: Masters of Arts, Human Resources Management, National University Bachelor of Arts, Health and Safety Studies, California State University, Sacramento Certified Mediator Board Experience: Yolo County Board of Supervisors Workforce Investment Board (WIB); Sacramento Human Resources Management Association (SHRMA); National Pan-Hellenic Council - Sacramento; and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. - Sacramento (Current Vice President).
Jim Rinehart Category: City Division Manager Appointment Date: February 20, 2007 Term Expires: January 22, 2008 Jim Rinehart is the Manager of Economic Development for the City of Sacramento. He has citywide responsibilities for economic development activities including such areas as infrastructure, financing, marketing and small business development. Prior to employment with the City of Sacramento, Mr. Rinehart had served in a variety of economic capacities. He was the Project Director for the recently constructed Stockton Arena, Ball Park and Event Center; Director of the State Office of Business Development; and Director of the City of Oakland's Redevelopment and Economic Development Office. Education: Bachelors and Masters degrees in chemistry and business, University of California and Pepperdine University Board Experience: State Industrial Development Financing Board; Chair of the Governor's Biotechnology Commission; appointed by the Secretary of Commerce to the Federal International Export Trade Board.
Edgar Calderon Category: Small Business Appointment Date: July 18, 2006 Term Expires: May 3, 2008 Edgar Calderon is the Media Development Coordinator/Consultant at Access Sacramento Cable Television Channels 17 & 18, cable radio frequencies and internet website. Mr. Calderon was the publisher and CEO of La Pulga Classified, LLC, a bilingual periodical shoppers' magazine. He was the Founder, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief for Spanish Phone Directories, the first Yellow Pages book in Spanish for the cities of Sacramento, Stockton and Modesto. Board Experience: Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Los Oradores Toastmasters Bilingual Club, Festival de La Familia, Business Advisory Council in California at the National Republican Congressional Committee, Sacramento Millennium Lions Club, Senior Project Board Member at Sheldon High School in Elk Grove, Central International Fellowship, The Mystic Shrine (Shriners) Ben Ali Temple, and Yolo County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Michelle McClure Category: Employment Appointment Date: January 31, 2006 Term Expires: January 22, 2007 Michelle McClure is a native Sacramentan who has been engaged in Sacramento's workforce for over fifteen years, and is currently employed with the County of Sacramento's Department of Personnel Services. After more than five years of experience as a social worker and workforce coordinator, her interests lie in facilitating information sharing and equal opportunities for all residents. Education: CSU Sacramento with a degree in psychology.
Lauren Morgan Category: Employment Appointment Date: July 18, 2006 Term Expires: May 3, 2008 Lauren Morgan is the Human Resource Manager for Runyon Saltzman and Einhorn, Inc. in Sacramento. Education: BA in Social Science from the University of California, Berkeley; Certificate in Human Resource Management, University of California, Berkeley Extension; Senior Professional in Human Resources - May 2005 and City Management Academy - December 2005.
