BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

The Office of Small Business (OSB) is developing workshops, on an ongoing basis, aimed at providing information about subjects of special interest to small business owners.

OSB also hosts an annual small business fair (Biz$Link) as a means of providing a venue for businesses to interact with City departments, local service agencies, prime- and sub-contractors, and with each other.

The Business Development and Technical Assistance component also offers business management and operations skill development services, through a cooperative agreement between the City of Sacramento's Office of Small Business (OSB), the Greater Sacramento Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and the Federal Technology Center (FTC) - Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC). These services include consulting in business management, marketing, and finance, on a one-on-one basis; procurement technical assistance services; and business information, consulting, and training seminars.

In addition, you can check out these and other educational opportunities by viewing the listing of seminars and workshops currently being offered for small businesses in the general Sacramento Area.
