Key Performance Measures for IT

Deliver viable IT solutions that are flexible, scalable and maintainable. In these economic times, it is more important than ever to be responsible stewards of our limited resources. This means Sacramento will do more than deliver projects, we will also deliver value.
Project Overview: As part of a larger citywide effort, IT recently developed five key performance measurement goals that will be used to track IT performance in the future. These five key measurement areas include:
- Customer Service
- Applications Management
- Infrastructure Management
- Program Management
- Business Process Innovation
These five areas will help reveal and evaluate how IT delivers customer service, manages infrastructure and application assets, and supports City objectives and operations. The identified performance measures will also help facilitate decision making, streamline business process and improve efficiencies. The ongoing results of the performance measurement program will align with the Digital Strategy and support future citywide business technology initiatives.
