Microsoft Office 365 is a collection of apps and services that you can use to be productive across a variety of devices from just about anywhere. Several different subscriptions are available to suit different business needs. The City will be using two of the plans called Enterprise E1 and Enterprise E3. Features of both plans are provided below.
Office Suite (E3 only): Full installed Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and One Note) on up to 5 PCs or Macs per user.
Office Online (E1 & E3): These are the browser based versions of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and One Note. They allow you to view and edit files on any device within a web browser.
Office on tablets and phones (E3 Only): Full installed Office apps (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive) on up to 5 tables and 5 phones per user.
One Drive (E1 & E3): 1 TB of personal cloud storage per user that can be accessed from anywhere and that syncs with their PC/Mac for offline access. Easily share documents with others inside and outside your organization and control who can see and edit each file.
