Rick Jennings, II was born in Houston, TX and raised in Washington, DC. In 1972, he earned a football and track scholarship to the University of Maryland graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. Rick is proud to be the first college graduate in his family. Read Councilmember Jennings' full biography.

Mar 17 - Look who's now open in Delta Shores! #LivInD7 Read Post

Mar 16 - Police are on site at Kennedy High School. Students have been evacuated to the Elks Lodge on Riverside Blvd. Kennedy faculty and staff as well as district staff and SPD officers are with your children at the Elks Lodge. Parents should pick up their children from the Elks Lodge, not Kennedy High School. Students, faculty and staff have been evacuated. Police will be doing a room-by-room sweep. They will also be checking the entire campus grounds. It is anticipated that this will take well into the evening. More information will be released by the school district. The streets around the Elks Lodge will be congested as you go to pick up your children. Read Post
