The Contest
Are you passionate about protecting the environment? How about getting paid up to $500 to design art and help the City of Sacramento fight climate change? Got your sketch pad, paint brushes, photoshop app or camera ready?
For a cash prize, the Office of Mayor Darrell Steinberg, in collaboration with the City of Sacramento’s Office of Climate Action and Sustainability and SMUD, are looking for artists ages 14-24 to submit their own carbon-zero art piece showing why a sustainable future is important for Sacramento! Any artistic expression that captures what carbon-zero and a green future means to you will help bring attention to this cause.
Ok - now that we've got your attention, below are the basics you will need to follow in order to submit an art piece and win the prize money.
We are so excited to see what kinds of art you’ll submit!
