The Draft Subsequent Environmental Impact Report (SEIR) on the Railyards Specific Plan Update (RSPU), Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Major League Soccer Stadium and Stormwater Outfall has been released by the City of Sacramento for public review and comment.

The City has been working with its partners to ensure the downtown experience is convenient, pleasant and accessible.

Downtown Housing Initiative


Mayor Kevin Johnson’s Downtown Housing Initiative will support the City’s unprecedented growth through the development of 10,000 places to live in Downtown Sacramento over the next 10 years. The purpose of the initiative is to create a better regulatory environment to streamline processes and encourage downtown development.
