 City of Sacramento Launches Women Veteran Photo Exhibit at City Hall as Official Kick-Off for Upcoming 8th Annual Veteran Parade:

The City of Sacramento Neighborhood Services Division in partnership with the Sacramento Chapter of the Women Veterans Alliance (WVA) and the James R. Morrison Photography Company, will host a short program, launching a new photo exhibit displayed at City Hall recognizing Women Veterans in Northern California on Monday, November 5th at 5:30pm.

 

The photo exhibit will be on display at City Hall starting November 1st through November 14th.

With video production help from Summer @ City Hall returning youth, Martha Mendoza, Thomas Hara and instructional guidance from Neighborhood Resource Coordinator, Reggae Brown; NSD will remain citizens-solution centered, as we maximize our ability to communicate through multimedia. NSD believes that the real strength of our community lies in the efforts of residents and neighborhood organizations. The Sacramento Youth Commission was established by the Sacramento City Council to serve as an advisory group to provide recommendations on youth related issues in Sacramento. Since its original creation in 1993, the Sacramento Youth Commission has organized numerous public events, tackled crucial youth related issues, and worked hundreds of hours serving the Sacramento City community at-large.
