#SacYouthWorks DiamondABOUT THE PROGRAM

The #SacYouthWorks Youth Internship program is part of the Neighborhood Services "Building Sac Youth for Success" initiative which encompasses all NSD youth programs. The #SacYouthWorks Youth Internship program is a four-week summer program focused on placing Sacramento Youth in internship opportunities in the public and private sector. This internship program will provide youth an opportunity to develop a positive work ethic and skill development that will help improve their performance in a work environment. We are looking to place up to 100 Sacramento youth ages 16-24 years old in internship opportunities.

There are three separate cohorts for the internship program from June to August 2017. The internship program will be from Monday - Thursday with applicants completing nine hours of internship work per week. Schedules may vary by internship placement.
