Crocker Village  Park

Crocker Drive and Donner Way near (Union Pacific Railroad Tracks)

Crocker Village Park Name Ideas

Help us name the park in Crocker Village! City of Sacramento Youth, Parks, & Community Enrichment Department (YPCE) staff held a public meeting for the 3.5-acre neighborhood park in the Crocker Village area on April 4, 2019.

Unfortunately, the previously suggested name for the park did not meet the City’s criteria for our Facilities Naming Policy. We’d like to ask neighbors for input on a name for the park.

Once we receive your responses to the survey below, the names proposed by community stakeholders will be vetted in accordance with the City Facility Naming Policy (policy posted on the survey monkey page, link below). The top three candidates to comply with the naming policy will be forwarded to the Parks and Recreation Commission for review. The Parks and Recreation Commission is tasked with making name recommendations to the City Council. The City Council will review the Commission’s recommendation and approve the proposed name along with the park master plan.

The survey will be open from April 30th to May 14th. To fill out the survey select here (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HHGRS9V ).

Please send any comments or questions regarding the proposed park master plan or proposed park name to Dennis Day, Landscape Architect, City of Sacramento, Dept. of Youth, Parks, and Community Enrichment at dday@cityofsacramento.org.
