Join one of our social groups to meet new people, be a part of a supportive community, and have fun! If a listed social group seems like it may be a fit for you, feel free to drop by and check it out!
FREE Manitos: Wednesdays, 8a-12:30p (ON HIATUS)
¿Hablas español? Join Manitos, a social group open to older adults who speak Spanish. The group is conducted entirely in Spanish and features games, food, songs, exercise, and more. Educational seminars and other presentations are scheduled frequently. The Manitos group occasionally holds its weekly gathering at a local restaurant or takes day trips. FREE Visual Social and Recreation Group: Wednesdays, 8a-Noon (ON HIATUS)
Blind, low vision, and seeing friends gather weekly for conversation, socialization, games and snacks. Volunteers assist group members as needed. The group members either bring their lunch, order delivery, or dine in our daily lunch program.
OWL (Older Women’s League): (ON HIATUS)
Executive Meeting-2nd Monday of every month, 10a-Noon; General Meeting-2nd Saturday of every month, 9:30a– 1p
Become involved with the only national grassroots membership organization that focuses exclusively on issues unique to women as they age. OWL is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that conducts research, education, and advocacy activities to improve the status and quality of life of mid-life and older women.
