Evelyn Moore Community Center to Reopen

Sacramento, California, October 1, 2003 – After months of construction the Evelyn Moore Community Center, located in south Sacramento, will be reopened to the community at a celebration on Saturday, October 11, 2003.

The new facility is 4,273 sq ft and includes a meeting room and activitiy room for community

groups as well as activities for teens and children. The new facility was built at a cost of $535,000.

The reopening celebration will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2003, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The

Eveyln Moore Community Center is located at 1402 Dickson Street.
