Stay “Cool in the Pool”
this Summer at City of Sacramento Pools

 

Sacramento, California, June 23, 2006 – Summer is here and the Department of Parks and Recreation has a solution to staying cool. When the temperature exceeds 101 degrees or above, many large pools operated by the Department of Parks and Recreation will remain open into the evening until 7 p.m.

Pools open extended hours on Friday, June 23, 2006 until 7 p.m.:

Clunie, Doyle, Grant, McClatchy, Pannell-Meadowview

Pools open extended hours on Saturday, June 24, 2006 until 7 p.m.:

Cabrillo, Clunie, Doyle, Johnston, Mangan, McClatchy, Oki, Pannell-Meadowview, Sim, Southside, Tahoe

Pools open extended hours on Sunday, June 25, 2006 until 7 p.m.:

Cabrillo, Clunie, Doyle, Hall, Johnston, Mangan, McClatchy, Oki, Pannell-Meadowview, Sim, Southside

Pools open extended hours on Monday, June 26, 2006 until 7 p.m.:

Clunie, Doyle, Grant, McClatchy, Pannell-Meadowview, Sim

Cool in the Pool is in effect when the temperature exceeds 101 degrees. On weekdays, half of the pools are open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Pools offering evening programs on Wednesdays will re-open for two hours where possible.
