More than 30,000 Watch Sacramento Sky Concert

- More than 30,000 people watched the first annual New Year's Eve Sky
Concert fireworks display along the waterfront in Old Sacramento and river
walk in West Sacramento. The Sky Concert was simulcast on Capital Public
Radio all along the boardwalk to the promenade, south of the Tower Bridge.
The New Year's Eve Sky Concert was produced by the City
of Sacramento 150th Anniversary Office with support from Capital Public
Radio, City of West Sacramento, Downtown Sacramento Partnership, Old Sacramento
Management, and the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The event was free to the public.
Planning has already begun for a bigger and more
exciting Sky Concert this coming New Year's Eve.
