Painting a New Language
Meets Fridays. Instructor, Susan Recely. $20 for 4 sessions - Oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting class for beginning and experienced painters. Have you ever wanted to pursue your creative side? Please join us to create new, original, and beautiful works of art!

The beginning of class focuses on teaching time and demonstrations. Topics include color theory, art history, and the artist Habits of Mind learning experience. Beginning students should start at the beginning of the month that focuses on their choice of medium. Susan has developed a large group of regular students who are all at different skill levels. Intermediate students who are working on a painting can receive private instruction during the latter half of class. Advanced students are also welcome to any class to work on their projects.

Develop your own style as you add color and light into your paintings. Odd-number months will focus on oil and acrylic paints, even number months will concentrate on watercolor. Space is limited. Materials lists for both mediums are available at front desk.

Pastel Landscapes with Reif Erickson
Meets Tuesdays. $25 per lesson. Reif (pronounced Ray-f) is a nationally known artist, and has a very successful career using pastels to paint masterful landscapes of California and the Southwest. Reif uses a paint-along method of instruction. Pastels and paper provided for your first class, and then you are given a supply list. Each lesson yields a finished piece of art!
