This site opened in 2006. The park is a joint-use detention basin/park, and was designed to be very low maintenance and have limited water requirements. The site is planted with non-irrigated native grasses, trees and groundcover.

Phase one amenties are completed and include:
  • Multi-purpose biketrail/ pedestrian path
  • Viewing nodes with interpretive signage and benches along the trail for viewing of aquatic plants, waterfowl and wildlife
  • Small group picnic shelter with table
  • Two decomposed granite horseshoe courts
