Sacramento Police Academies

The Sacramento Police Department offers both the P.O.S.T certified Basic Academy and the Public Safety Dispatcher Course. Both courses are open to Agency sponsored and non-affiliated students. Students will receive college credit through the Los Rios Community College District in addition to the corresponding P.O.S.T certification.
