Neighborhood Watch Training Sessions

If everyone participates, Neighborhood Watch can reduce crime and make the neighborhood a safer place. Check each month for our Schedule of Upcoming Neighborhood Watch Training Sessions.

2017 Training Calendar

All of the following training sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. and are in the Hall of Honor, located at the Public Safety Center, 5770 Freeport Blvd. unless otherwise noted.
Ample free parking is available.

 October

  • October 30 - Neighborhood Watch 101 (Sommerset Parkside Condos between P & Q Sts, starts at 6:30 pm - open to all, but must park on street)

November

  • November 7 - Personal and Home Security
  • November 8 - Expert Speaker:  Current City plans for homeless - Sgt. Greg Galliano of the Impact Team
  • November 13 - Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) (Hart Community Center, starts at 6:30 pm)
  • November 14 - Personal and Home Security (Crocker Riverside Elementary, starts at 6:30 pm)
  • November 15 - Reporting:  Code Enforcement and Crime
