Construction

Construction for Phase 2 began late October 2014 and is schedule to complete in December 2016. Managing a complex rehabilitation with an active train station is a challenge to all parties, including our passengers that pass through the facility on their commute or their visit to Sacramento. The City of Sacramento appreciates everyone’s patience with the changing conditions for parking and circulation for this critical work.

The result will be a great enhancement to the experience of rail and transit users and return an important civic and commercial center, the gateway to the Railyards and the Downtown Center of Sacramento.
