Solar Energy Educational Grant
Funding Opportunity for Schools Now Available!
The City of Sacramento, partnering with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar America Cities program, is now offering financial support to teachers who want to increase their students’ awareness of solar and renewable energy. Up to $1,000 is available per project and teacher.
This one-time opportunity can fund educational projects that inform, educate, and engage students on topics related to solar energy and energy efficiency, including solar-focused research, field trips, in class activities, science demonstration projects, community service, sustainability clubs, and more!
Only schools within city limits of the Sacramento are eligible to apply at this time.
