Road Striping & Night Work Occurring Along 9th Street

Road striping along the 9th Street corridor is underway. Consideration is made for State Standard Construction Specifications, which require pavement surfaces to be dry during a period of favorable weather and a temperature above 50°F prior to striping. As temperatures are expected to rise through the course of the week, road striping is scheduled to occur between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, night work will occur this week from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. for manhole grouting. Remaining punch list items will be deferred until after the first of the year and are expected to be complete by mid-January 2019.

To thank corridor business owners and residents that were impacted by the Downtown Sewer Upgrade construction along 9th Street, the City has launched a “9 Reasons to Visit 9th Street” campaign that will run through the New Year. We have partnered with multiple businesses along the corridor to provide discounts that will help you save.
