Governmental Affairs provides professional and administrative support to the City Manager’s Office. Governmental Affairs monitors Federal and State Legislative activity; ensures effective communication with constituents, employees and the media; and implements special programs to further the goals of City leadership.
City to Customer (C2C)
C2C is an internal training and development program for City employees designed to enhance and promote customer service within the organization.
E-Government
The City’s E-Government Program was recently established to further the goals of streamlining City operations and making government services more accessible and convenient for the public.
Legislative Affairs
The primary purpose of the Legislative Affairs unit is to advocate, coordinate and advance the City’s legislative agenda to enhance the City’s ability to govern and provide essential municipal and community services.
City Public Information
The City of Sacramento Public Information Office (PIO) is here to facilitate communication with citizens, businesses, elected officials and the City Manager’s Office regarding City services and projects.
