Ethics

In accordance with California Government Code Section 53234 (also referred to as AB 1234), all City of Sacramento elected officials and appointed board and commission members are required to take two hours of State approved local ethics training.  The first certification is due within one year of taking office, and then every two years thereafter.  Compliance is monitored by the Office of the City Clerk.  To assist officials with the training requirement, visit the Fair Political Practices Commissihttp://www.fppc.ca.gov/on (FPPC) website for more information on the FPPC web based training program.
