Welcome to Councilmember Ray Tretheway's Homepage

Welcome to my web page! It is an honor to serve as your Sacramento City Council representative for the communities of Alkali Flat, Downtown, Richards Boulevard, North and South Natomas, Northgate and Gardenland.

While serving on the Sacramento City Council I am concentrating on smart growth for our city, revitalizing our downtown area, keeping our communities safe and ensuring that Sacramento is the most livable city in the United States.

I hope that this web site will assist you in learning about upcoming events and projects that I am working on. I would like to hear your thoughts on how we can make Sacramento a better city. Please do not hesitate to contact me at rtretheway@cityofsacramento.org, or my staff, if we can be of any assistance to you.

North Natomas Regional Park Workshop Results

Friends of the Park, Department of Parks & Recreation and Council Member Tretheway gathered on November 4th to share the results of a recent survey on the future development of the regional park.

Attendees received an agenda, contact information sheet (Friends of the Park, Council Member Tretheway, and Department of Parks & Recreation), an updated Master Plan indicating recent park developments, and the results of the survey.    The public had the opportunity to ask many questions.  In the next few days, the FAQ will be added to this page.  The community packet is available now for your viewing and sharing:

The community heard from a panel of speakers on a presentation of the current master plan, funding sources available for neighborhood, community and regional size parks, updates on current park projects through 2012, shade structure installation, and the survey results. The presentation is available for your viewing and sharing here: North Natomas Regional Park Nov 4th Presentation

Special thanks to the Friends of the Park for the time and dedication they have given to making the development of the regional park a priority for residents of Natomas communities and the City of Sacramento.

As guests gathered for a meeting they were treated to a montage of photos from recent events taking place at the regional park (2008, 2009) or about the regional park (2006).
