Business Compliance
The Business Compliance Division works in conjunction with other City Departments to issue permits and licenses and enforce various state and local codes and ordinances relating to businesses. Tobacco Retailer License
The City of Sacramento has enacted a Tobacco Retailer Licensing Program for all individual tobacco retailers within the City of Sacramento. The primary goal of this program is to decrease the illegal sales of tobacco products to minors in the City of Sacramento through proactive enforcement activities. More....
Entertainment Permits
The City of Sacramento encourages the development of arts and culture in Sacramento in order to provide rich and diverse cultural experiences for the City's residents and its visitors. To ensure that entertainment establishments present such an environment, the City of Sacramento has established an entertainment program. The primary goal of the entertainment program is to hold entertainment establishments responsible for patron conduct by making provisions for security, crowd control and minimizing disturbances.
