CDD Permit Counter

The Permit Counter is the "one-stop" public information and service center for a number of City agencies to assist customers with planning, engineering, building, and transportation issues.

Permit Counter 300 Richards Boulevard, 3rd Floor Sacramento, CA 95811 Hours 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM,  Monday through Friday excluding City Holidays and Furlough Days  *Code Enforcement Staff is only available until 3:30 PM

Over the Counter Plan Review Commercial Plan Review Services are available from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Residential Plan Review Services are available from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Services

The Counter staff will help you determine what types of permits and approvals will be needed for your project, and will assist you in filing the necessary forms. In addition, they provide information on:

• Zoning and land use regulations
• Design Review and Historic Preservation
• Subdivision maps
• Building permits
• Sign permits
• "Over the counter" plan review
• Planning entitlement applications
• Flood information
• Accept plans for review and expedited review
• Issue permits over the counter, such as
  • Reroof Permits
  • Minor Building Remodels
  • Wrecking Permits
  • Certificate of Occupancy
