Minor Permit Application

Instructions

Requests must be received in this office by 3:00 PM to be processed the following workday. Contractors must have a current certificate of worker's compensation insurance.

Do not start work until after receiving the completed building permit. Work started before a building permit is issued will be subject to a quad fee, which is four times the original permit fee. Having a faxed permit application that is in process will not exempt you from these penalty fees.

Picking up the permit

If the applicant has pre-registered, the permit will be emailed to the given email address. If not, the permit must be picked up at the Permit Counter.

Extra Requirements

Permits requiring a plan review are not eligible for this program.

Design Review and Historic Preservation approval may be required if job address is located in those areas. (Check the property address to see whether it is within such an area.)
