The Housing Code Advisory and Appeals Board will meet on the second Wednesday of each month. Meetings are held at 5:30 pm.
About the Housing Code Advisory and Appeals Board
The Board is a five-member Board (not employees of the City) appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council.
Section 8.100.120 of the City Code, City Ordiances 2008-013 and 95-054, as well as City Resolution 81-476, give the Board the authority to:
- Provide for final interpretation of the provisions of the “Housing Code” (Chapter 8 of the Sacramento City Code).
- To hear cases involving the repair or demolition of substandard and/or dangerous buildings as well as appeals of substandard and/or dangerous buildings cases.
