Urban Design

Urban Design seeks to direct the future growth of Sacramento by developing codes and design guidelines to create well-planned mixed-use communities (i.e., neighborhoods with homes and businesses mixed together, instead of separated). The objective is to create a diverse community with a unified, asthetically pleasing look.

Central City Urban Design Guidelines

Guidelines for street design, parks, and other aspects of downtown Sacramento.

Form Based Codes
