Council Approves Railyards
The City Council approved Railyards project by unanimous vote on December 11, 2007.
About the Plan
The Railyards is a collaborative planning effort between the City of Sacramento and Thomas Enterprises. The 244-acre brownfield site is located just north of Sacramento's central business district and east of the Sacramento River. It is recognized as the largest urban infill site in this region and presents Sacramento with a significant opportunity to accommodate future growth utilizing sustainable and smart growth principles.
