North Sacramento, South Sacramento (D8), and Ben Ali - Alternative Design Ordinances
On October 14, 2008 the Sacramento City Council adopted, on an interim basis, North and South standards related to the massing of single family and two family homes on property in the North Sacramento areas. Individuals constructing or remodeling homes in this area of the City would be offered a way to fast track their projects if they meet the criteria of the ordinance. If variations from the ordinance requirements are proposed, the request shall be considered by the Design Review Director at the Design Director Hearing.
