City of Sacramento staff are inviting residents to join the Earth Day clean-up and beautification events on Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at locations citywide. All locations will include trash pick-up and other activities as shown below:
The event is open to individuals or groups. Minors under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteers should wear sunscreen and closed-toe shoes, and bring their own water bottle. Tools for trash pick-up and beautification activities will be provided.
*Note: Pre-registration is not required to participate. Volunteers who have not pre-registered will be required to fill out a waiver form at the site before participating. Once you arrive, look for the volunteer site lead to complete your form and receive directions.
The City will be participating in the Sacramento Earth Day celebration on Sunday, April 21 at Southside Park, from 11 a.m. to 4 pm.
Join the Office of Climate Action & Sustainability for the "Make Your Mark" collaborative community painting, led by local artist Taner Pasamehmetoglu.
City staff from multiple other departments will be available at the event as table exhibitors, with information and activities.
