senior apartments and community space. The project includes 1,200 sf of
retail.

Project Description: Hollywood-based CIM Group's design consists of a
7-story, concrete-framed mixed-use project with 200 -270 residential units
above 17,000 square feet of ground floor retail. Parking for residents
and retail tenants will be provided on the sub-grade level and on two
levels above the ground floor. Ground floor retail will be available along
8th, 9th and J Streets.
Estimated Project Cost: $43 million

Fremont Mews
The development is to be located on CADA Site 13, the four fifths of the
block between 14th and 15th, P and Q Streets. The project site is currently
occupied by the Ron Mandella Community Garden and a state managed parking
lot. The Fremont Mews includes a total of 119 residential units and 19,200

Project Description: Construction of a 28-story, 500-room convention center
hotel operated by Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Inc. The project preserves
the historic public market building, originally designed in 1923 by Julia
Morgan, by housing the hotel's ballroom, two restaurants, and meeting
space. The project also includes a business center, fitness facilities,
valet parking, and car rental services.
