The Cathedral Square Building at 12th and K streets, originally the site of Sacramento's first Sears & Roebuck building, began renovation in April 2005 to bring 23 residential apartments to Downtown. With 14-foot ceilings, the project also features 38 parking spaces for tenants, office space, room for a day spa, and a ground-floor "Ella" restaurant. Project managers expect the first occupants to move in by Fall 2006.
