The 800 J Lofts, commonly known as "9th and J," features a 7-story mixed-use development with ground floor retail and rental apartment units on several parcels fronting J Street in Downtown. Parking includes over 150 spaces below ground in an existing basement and 75 stalls above ground in the back of the project facing the alley.

Currently in the final stages of construction, 800 J lofts brings 225 loft-style residential units to the heart of Downtown Sacramento. The project features views of Cesar Chavez Plaza to the northeast, the Renaissance Tower to the south, the historic Cal West building to the east and various other Downtown landmarks. Project Managers have scheduled the grand opening for October 2006.

Construction continues on the building's shell, made of fabricated materials.
