The City of Sacramento sponsored a training program
geared toward revitalizing commercial corridors in 2001. Main Street is
a state sponsored revitalization approach that was originally developed
by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Many communities across
the United States have used the approach to revitalize and energize their
commercial corridors.
