Director's Welcome

Welcome to the website for the City of Sacramento Department of Finance. Working closely with the Mayor, the City Council, and the City Manager, our department is committed to enhancing and maintaining the fiscal stability of our City. From preparing the budget to collecting revenue, from procuring services to reviewing expenses, Finance Department employees ensure that our City has the resources to serve our residents.

The Department of Finance works on a variety of special projects. These projects range from presentations to reports on citywide policy and budget issues.
