NOTE: If your request concerns setting up a new account, changes to your existing account, liens or other account billing issues, email the Department of Utilities or call 916-808-5454. (Select Option 1 to make a phone payment or Option 2 for utility billing account information.)

Garbage, Recycling and Yard Waste containers are sometimes missed for collection. All containers need to be placed out for collection by 6:00 AM on the regular collection day, including all holidays. Pick up occurs until 5:00 PM.
