Happy Ending Stories - Max

Greetings,

We adopted an amazing Sheltie mix dog from you named Max back in late June. We just wanted to let you know, Max is the most well-behaved, loving dog we've ever had! He was quite shy and very sick when we first brought him home from your Front Street shelter location, but we had faith in him. We nursed him back to health and he slowly came out of his shell over time. Now, he is the best buddy we could have ever hoped for! We can't imagine our lives without him!

Max learned quickly how to "sit," "lay down," "shake," "roll over" and "speak!" He gets along great with his "sister" and "brother" Elle and Jimmy (both cats). He's made friends at the South Land Park Friendship dog park, he loves to run alongside "Mommy" on her jogs and he's even become a regular boat dog by hitting the waves on the family boat!

Also, keep an eye out for Max on News10. He's going to be "famous" as he recently began appearing with "Daddy" (Gregg Lalka, News10 weatherman) in a new News10 Holiday commercial. We've attached a photo from the commercial shoot where Max got dressed up as Santa!

Thank you for giving little Max a second chance through your shelter services. We couldn't be more thankful this holiday season to have such a special addition to our family! Take care and God bless you for bringing joy to people and animals alike.
