Shelter Partners Program

Our Teen Community Service Program - 15 Hour Commitment

Many of our schools require students to find ways to contribute to society through volunteer projects. We are happy to be a part of this endeavor and invite you to participate! If you need 15 hours or more of community service and you don’t have an adult partner, you can be of help! Join us on Saturdays from 1:00-3:00 p.m. You’ll be helping with laundry, unfolding newspapers, making adoption packets, stuffing Kongs and assisting in other ways. This program does not require that you attend training classes and handling animals is not included. This program is limited to 10 active students. Sign up for this program by calling 916-808-8166 at least one week before the Saturday you wish to attend. Indicate that you're a “Shelter Partners” volunteer. This is a first come, first served program so call early!
