Jack
We adopted our puppy form the Sacramento City Shelter on Front Street.
He has been a great addition to our family. We named him Jack. We were
initially told that he was thought to be a Pitbull mix with maybe Sharpei.
The vet said that he thought he was definitly part Sharpei, but doubted
if he was part Pitbull. We have a friend that raises different breeds of
dogs and thought that Jack had the physical and behavioral characteristics
of a Besnji. So after some research we believe that Jack is indeed part
Basenji. Anyway he rarely ever barks, he lets the other dogs do that,
and he loves to hang around people, but does not like to be overwhelmed
with attention (these are characteristics of the Basenji). He also likes
to pick up anything he can find and hide it. Everyone has fell in love
with him and we are so happy to have found him. I am sending a picture of
him as well.
