Introduction
The City of Sacramento, in an effort to improve communications
for the general public and to generate revenue for the City, issues
revocable permits to Telecommunications Wireless Carriers to install
and operate wireless telecommunications facilities on properties
owned by the City. Mission of the Telecommunications Program
The mission of the Telecommunications Program is to provide professional
services to both the telecommunications industry and various City
Departments to facilitate a higher standard of mobile communications
for the public by providing site locations that have minimal impact
to City operations and public use.
