City Employee Vehicle Inspection

Prior to operation, the driver is to inspect the vehicle to insure it is in safe operating condition.

• Check the tires for adequate tread and inflation.
• Check lights for proper operation.
• Check the fuel and oil levels.
• Check and clean windshield if necessary.
• If you require assistance, contact Fleet Operations staff.
• Start the vehicle, check all gauges for proper component function, drive slowly and test brakes prior to entering traffic.
• All vehicles over 10,500 lb. GVWR require written pre-trip inspection.
