Law and Legislation Committee

Purpose

  • The Law and Legislation Committee was established to coordinate City policies related to State and Federal legislation and local ordinances.
  • The Committee is authorized to adopt positions on State and Federal legislation on behalf of the City.
  • All new and amended ordinances are reviewed and approved by the Committee prior to adoption by the City Council.
  • The Mayor appoints the four City Council members who serve in the Committee.

Committee Meeting Schedule
