The Neighborhood Services Department staff members are dedicated to helping you. Like you, we are members of the Sacramento community and are always looking for ways to make Sacramento the most livable city in America! 	Vincene Jones	Esther Sato

	Although a long time resident of Sacramento, Vincene was born and raised in Washington, D. C.	Esther first started with the City in the Parks & Recreation Department and has been with the
and received a B.S. degree from Virginia Union University. Vincene is no stranger to City Hall or the Sacramento community. Prior to coming to Neighborhood Services, she served as the Chief of Staff to Mayor Heather Fargo and has worked in various positions in the offices of the Mayor and City Council for 17 years.		Neighborhood Services Department since its inception in 1993. Esther enjoys being able to network with fellow city employees, individuals from the community, and different organizations and businesses to help resolve issues.

	Living and working for our great City over 25 years continues to be a true passion. An alumnus of	Derrick has nearly 20 years of experience in public service. He draws inspiration from the community
California State University Sacramento and masters in Public Policy, couples with the depth of experience in local government are my foundation to serve. Public involvement, Community Relations and Consensus Building are the building blocks to "getting the customer to success."		and volunteers. An occasional essayist and aspiring brewer, Derrick enjoys food and hiking.

	Julie Sontag has been with Neighborhood Services since 2005 and enjoys the opportunity to work
with the varied communities of Sacramento. She's interested in community participation and sustainability and worked in the Planning Division before coming to Neighborhood Services.

strongly values diversity and democracy. He is committed to assisting individuals and organizations in the City of Sacramento in an effort to strengthen neighborhoods and facilitate public involvement in local government. Sergey likes food and social networking.
