Computer classes are offered in eight week sessions, five times annually. Course listings generally include multiple offerings of Introduction to Computers, as well as intermediate classes. Each course has 8 sessions and each class is 1 1/2 hours long, with a cost of $40. Instructional manuals and other materials are included.
To enroll in a course, new students are encouraged to first attend an Orientation and Registration session, which is held five times a year. It is not mandatory that a new student attend Orientation, however, this is the first opportunity new students will have to register for class and registration is first come first serve with limited class size. Want to receive information about upcoming sessions by email? Simply send an email to hartnews@cityofsacramento.org with the title SUBSCRIBE or visit the reception desk to fill out our contact form.
Free weekly Question & Practice Lab sessions are available to students currently enrolled in computer classes. The lab is a chance for students to come in outside of class time to receive help with the curriculum or to ask questions. The sign-up sheet can be located at the reception desk. Students are asked to sign-up in advance.
